Bullet control progress update #3
Bullet Control (game jam version) » Devlog
Sorry for the lack of updates over these 20+ days. I got burnt out and took a break, after that I forgot about updating the devlog so I've made a lot of progress. Here are the changes since the last progress update.
- I created a menu screen
- Added a highscore system
- Overhauled most of the sounds
- Added particle affects for explosions and missile trails
- changed some of the color scheme (now all enemies are colors between red and orange)
- Created a settings menu for changing sound effect and music volume
- Made the speed at which enemies travel diagonally realistic
- Added new music for the menu
- Now for every three coins you collect you will gain a life
- Occasionally a group of enemies will spawn in patterns
- Made mines and missiles scale with difficulty
- Fixed 7 bugs
The list of thing I plan on adding is getting quite small and the game should be done soon, unless I get a lot of new ideas the next devlog will be announcing the release of the full version of the game. I plan on uploading the finished game to a new page and including a link on the game jam edition because I know nobody will find out about the updated version if I post it to the game jam page.
Lastly if you have any suggestions or ideas please feel welcome to comment them on this post.
